Hello, world!
Starting a weekly summary of my progress in building projects.
For those who don't know me: hi, I'm Norbert! 👋 I'm a software engineer based in Poland, and I've been building stuff for almost a decade now.
I've worked in different domains, but in the past couple of years, I've focused mostly on insurance and financial infrastructure. I was part of LemonSqueezy (a merchant of record solution), and then I joined Stripe through an acquihire. I spent over two years there, and recently I decided it's time to try to build something on my own again.
Over the last couple of months, I've been working on Paperjoy, a service that automates sending "handwritten" thank-you notes in Poland. It's taken me a couple of months, but it seems like I'm about to go live soon, which is very exciting.
This blog is intended to be my diary. I'll do my best to post a weekly update (without putting too much pressure on myself), and if you want to follow along, welcome!
